Why Choose Shaun Tyler Osteopath?
At Shaun Tyler Osteopath we believe in taking our time and getting to know our patients. We do not treat multiple patients at once or rush you through like a conveyor belt system. Your first appointment is around an hour and follow ups are 30minutes or 45minutes depending on what suits you.. This allows us to take a very detailed history and perform a comprehensive assessment. Allowing us to create a treatment plan specific to you, your lifestyle, that will get to the bottom of your pain and get you back to function and moving well.
We Treat The Patient, Not The Symptoms
Osteopath’s are well known for not just treating the symptom but getting to the underlying cause of the pain or injury. No two people are the same so why expect the same treatment for every condition. We try to understand you and your lifestyle with all the unique pressures this encompasses.
Exercise Rehabilitation
Your treatment plan isn’t just about lying on the treatment table. We don’t do print outs with generic exercises plans. You’ll have a personally designed progressive exercise plan to not only make you feel better but make you better than you were before. Through the comprehensive assessment we’ll assess your strength or endurance and taking into account your goals we’ll design an exercise plan that will get you there. It will be hard work and take committment but we will be there to support you every step of the way.
Hands On Treatment
Osteopathic treatment includes hands on treatment. This might include soft tissue techniques inluding massage, joint, muscle and nerve stretching techniques, joint mobilisations and manipulation if appropriate. These techniques will help reduce pain and get you moving better.

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?
Osteopathy is a health care system based on the relationships of the body’s structure and the way it functions from a single muscle or joint to a whole. Osteopathy can complement other health care systems and is effective in the treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions including back pain, nerve problems such as sciatica, neck pain, joint pain, repetitive strain injuries such as tennis elbow, sports injuries and everyday aches and pains.
