OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a health care system based on the relationships of the body’s structure and the way it functions. Shaun will assess your body from a single muscle to a joint to the way the whole body moves to complete a task. When the body is balanced and efficient it will function with optimal movement and use less energy with minimal wear and tear. This is why it’s so good for all ages, sports people, exercise enthusiasts, pregnant women and even children.
Everyone is unique and no two bodies are the same. Shaun take’s into account the person and not just the site of injury. His treatment plan will be tailored to YOU and what YOUR goal entails. Whether it be to sit at a desk for 8 hours without neck pain, to run a marathon or play with your grandchildren or enjoy the garden. You’ll never be writtien off as too old, too unfit or your joints are too degenerative. Shaun believes everyone has the potential for their musculoskeletal system to adapt and improve, no matter what your age or the amount of pain you’re in. It’s just a case of finding the right start point for the individual and providing the right treatment, encouragement and exercise prescription.
