Rehabilitation

Exercise rehabilitation is so important to your recovery. Our aim is not just to make you better but to make you better than before – so the injury and pain doesn’t keep coming back. Provided the exercise prescription is at the right dose we can remodel bone, strengthen muscles and connective tissue. This is why we design each exercise plan personally to you. If the dose it too little there won’t be enough stimulation for remodelling and adaptation to get you stronger. If the dose is too much, then this will cause further tissue breakdown and result in injury. Getting it just right takes experience and is key to getting you better, moving well and ultimately doing the activities you love. Exercise rehab is set as homework, is integrated as part of your treatment session and can be booked as 1:1 sessions at a semi-private gym in Colchester with Shaun.
